• Plan meetings for the John Jay College veteran and military population• Answer student inquiries regarding admission, academics, benefits, and personal matters, and referred to supervisor and other college authorities as appropriate• Design and promote campaigns on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram• Design original posters and flyers in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) and CANVA for distribution• Manage social media presence and increase event participation through promotion of marketed campaigns• Assist with inquiries and collaborations on social media platforms and website• Advertise available jobs and careers suited for military and veteran students• Assist in veteran job identification and career preparation efforts• Manage 25-loaner laptops and office equipment for maintenance and to ensure proper functioning, copying, printing, and filing tasks
