• Responsible for finance & commercial leadership for large deals in UK&I and Europe, including managed service outsources for CRH, Primark, Tesco Mobile, Depfa Bank and numerous government customers.• Win Price identification using a combination of benchmarking, similar deals, customer intelligence, current customer spend, solution value proposition.• Capital Investment Appraisal – NPV/IRR analysis of capital programmes including scenario sensitivity analysis for large programme investment cases.• Ensuring deals are represented in line with IFRS. Owning and presenting deal financials throughout the internal governance process, including to senior executive team for business approval sign-off.• Customer Negotiations – identify pricing models which work for both organisations including PxQ pricing, price banding, minimum volume or term commitments, price transparency.• Discussions include commercial terms such as Termination for Convenience and stranded costs, indexation, SLA penalties and LDs.• Deal Shaping – consult with customers to identify customer pricing/budgetary requirements and shape the deal pricing accordingly. • Engagement with the funding function to organise appropriate funding vehicle and/or key suppliers to organise supplier financing when required.• Responsible for drafting contractual Finance Schedules including all charges, milestone acceptance criteria, volume bandings including floors/ceilings, variation for charges (indexation), liquidated damages, termination for convenience (break option) fees.
