I was invited by the owner of Treasure Your Pics, a Dublin based on line Photobook producer to join the company as Sales Director in August 2006.My role was to develop and implement the sales and marketing components of the business plan. This required to: (i) introduce treasureyourpix.com to the photo retailer and professional photographer sectors across the UK and Ireland, and (ii) develop commercial relationships and associations that would generate revenue streams.During my time with the company I travelled extensively in the UK and Europe.

I was appointed sector Director in 2000 with a brief to increase group sales from 5,000 tonnes to 11,000 tonnes.My responsibilities included consolidating stock levels and product offering while building volumes on the key Brands.Negotiating with major Paper Mills on price and rebates for our group.During this period sales grew from 5,000 tonnes (€4m) to 11,000 (€8.5m) tonnes per annum. After the Burhmann acquisition, I was selected to attend The Buhrmann Academy in Holland as part of the succession planning process for the Group. I attended seminars on all aspects of running a successful business, from accounting, corporate governance, environmental, health and safety and also motivation and team building.
