I performed marketing events for Interactions beginning in May of 2013, in which time I was contracted for individual events. Although the specifics varied, often times I was tasked with informing consumers on a particular companies services or products, and encouraging them to purchase it, although there were instances where I was tasked with performing surveys for internal use on branch performance for nationwide retailers.My basic duties required dressing in order to best represent the company I was working for and to push their specific image, as well as being able to easily approach and interact with consumers on a personal basis, finding out what their specific needs were, and inform them as to how the product being marketed would help alleviate their needs.

I maintain regular duties such as helping customers on the floor as well as maintaining the desired look and cleanliness of the store. I am also solely responsible for listing unique items for sale online, managing and storing the items listed, as well as packaging and sending them out to their destinations when ordered.Overall, I have been informed by my supervisor that since I took over the role of Shipping Manager, profit in that area has more than doubled.

This was only a position for the holiday season of 2009. I worked as a standard sales associate, but was additionally tasked with keeping products on the floor, and replacing them when they were sold. This meant being able to maintain a constant line of communication with workers who were in the stock room, as well as being aware of which products were being sold more quickly than others in order to facilitate customer demand. This position also required keeping the store in a clean and organized manner every moment that we were open for business.

Worked at various apartment complexes during multiple summers as a lifeguard. Duties involved tenant safety as well as cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding area.
