Molecular and cellular biologist with an emphases in neuroscience and inflammation. Research experience in cancer biology and immunology, with graduate work focused on spinal cord glial contributions to the development of neuropathic pain. Experienced with rodent research methods including husbandry and survival surgeries, post mortem tissue collection, and numerous foundational in vitro/ex vivo techniques like fluorescence IHC, FACS, and cell culture.Other pursuits include the study of human origins, understanding addiction in humans, and synthesizing my research expertise in ways that are understandable and useful for the non-scientist public.
