-Direct and coordinate the activities of the plant engineering function in the plant and its interface with the group office.-Establishe and monitor the plant tooling control and change control system while adhering to designs, specifications, and standards established by group engineering.-Estimate and prepare budgets and AFEs for plant projects, and is responsible for authorization for expenditures.-Directs constant communication with group engineering to ensure that any new developments affecting plant engineering are quickly and accurately transmitted and that any approved or standardized methods are established.-Establish a program that will ensure control of M & R and tooling inventories.-Direct information to the plant manager, department heads, group manufacturing engineer, and group engineering with the appropriate reports in all areas of plant engineering in order to ensure the efficient and consistent operation of the department within the plant and the group.-Direct necessary level of contact with environmental state and local agencies so that plant management is aware of any/all developing problems or changes occurring within area of responsibility.-Responsible for supervising outside contractors.-Responsible for supervising the electrical department and machine shop-Writes and maintain line control programming.-Responsible for building and site maintenance and repair.-Responsible for lock out/tag out program development and implementation.-Tracks time and costs of projects for plant manager.-Direct and coordinate health, safety, and environmental activities in the plant with assistance from corporate environmental services support engineer.-Responsible for duties of emergency coordinator when required per corporate emergency commander/coordinator guidelines.-Responsible for administration of fire protection and sprinkler systems.-Responsible for administration of fire alarm and evacuation systems.

-Direct and manage multiple concurrent engineering projects while ensuring their success in meeting their respective objectives. -Implement approved engineering budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets, analyzing out of budget expenses and ensuring they are offset in other areas of the project unless fully justified.-Consult or negotiate with clients to finalize engineering project specifications.-Negotiate with 3rd party engineering suppliers to get the best business deals..-Present engineering plans, progress status updates and situationers to project stakeholders and financiers.-Review and approve proposed engineering designs and subsequent product and process enhancements or changes.-Perform administrative and oversight functions in approving proposals, expenditures, enforcing policies and hiring and firing of engineers-Performed trouble shooting for equipment and maintenance for that equipment-Reduced time by strategic planning of projects and work-Onsite engineer for commissioning projects overseas-Jacking system controls design; "ladder logic" design, PLC, HMI, based controls with Allen Bradley displays. These controls where for industrial automation of multimillion dollar Liftboats.

I ran a shop of 5 employees performing various metal forming jobs that consisted of a burn table, a shear and a press brake, for customers in the lower Louisiana area. Oversaw the maintenance of the machines used to perform metal work. I had strategic planning for scheduling the work with the shop to output work efficiently.

I started with EBI back in the summer of 2003 and worked as a helper to welders, fitters, electricians, painters, carpenters, and metal shop.
