I previously was a security officer at WVU Medicine, J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital located in Morgantown, West Virginia. When hired by WVU Medicine I was certified and trained with Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray, naloxone (narcan) and how to properly apply patient restraints. During my time with WVU Medicine and on a normal given day, I would perform access control to the hospital and surrounding properties, enforce hospital rules and guidelines and perform room, bag and individual person searches. Also I would perform foot and vehicle patrols, write and issue citations and collect evidence if necessary for the chain of custody reports.

During my time with Dillards, I worked at two different Dillards department stores as a Loss Prevention Officer/agent; as I worked at Dillards Liberty Center and Dillards Kenwood Towne Center, both located in Cincinnati, Ohio.As a loss prevention agent, my duties were to monitor the CCTV's and use my personal judgement to fallow individuals on the security cameras and prevent theft from the store, weather that be internal theft (employees, vendors) or external theft (the customers). Some other duties as a loss prevention agent is to write and take statements and document the events that witness on the CCTV's and interview the individuals that I apprehend stealing and collect the stolen merchandise back for the store. Also as a loss prevention agent, I perform bag checks on employees as they exit the store and prepare case files and testimony evidence so I can testify in court after a apprehension is made on theft. Through working at Dillards department stores, I am accustomed with the Security Monitoring Systems (VMS 9000) and using security cameras (PTZ control Cameras and still cameras).

During the three months that I studied at the Washington Center and earned a minor in Crisis Communication and Emergency Management, I also completed a Federal Internship with the United States Marshals Service (USMS). I was an investigative Intern with the Information Management Unit, Criminal Intelligence Branch, Investigative Operations Division at the Marshals headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. During my Internship experience, I ran NCIC fingerprint matches on wanted fugitives, issued detainers on already arrested individuals so that the Marshals Service could apprehend the said individuals and take them into USMS custody after they served their time in the local jurisdictions that they are being held. I also updated the National Death Registry and worked in the background of some Federal cases. Finally, I also worked and collaborated with other United States Marshal Service branches, such as asset forfeiture, witness protection and field offices to obtain information and put together detailed reports to gather much intel I could about certain individuals. While being an United States Marshals Intern, I was granted access to the fallowing databases and have the proper knowledge and training in them all... - Lexus Nexus (Law Enforcement Accurint) - NLETS - Open Fox - LEEP (Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal)I also was able to obtain a federal clearance and a certification in NCIC.

Today, Coney Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati, Ohio is a small water and amusement park, with a conjoined concert hall (Riverbend) located on the banks of the Ohio river. During my time with Coney Island Amusement Park, I was a security guard that worked mostly night shifts (12 midnight to 8 A.M.) and concert security. During my time as a night security guard I would wait for everyone to leave the park and lock every door and perform nightly foot and vehicle patrols; and then in the morning I would unlock offices and gates as workers arrived for the parks normal day of operations. Then during my time as concert security guard, I was armed and I would escort the cash boxes around the concert grounds with the cash office staff members to perform cash drops and then escort the collected money back to the safes and then eventually to the bank after the concert was over. Also I would direct vehicle traffic on concert nights. More of my duties as a Coney Island Security Guard included me performing access and crowd control for special events like concerts and including checking state issued identification cards at the alcohol point of sales and using my judgement to stop serving individuals alcohol. Also on concert nights, I used a hand scanner and medical detector to screen people and bags before they were allowed to enter the concert area. Finally, as a security guard for Coney Island Amusement Park,I would perform community policing practices by performing vehicle lock-outs, battery jumps and respond to fall incidents by photographing the scenes, and preparing reports.
