I have had practical experience and been exposed to a number of departments at The One and Only in Cape Town. This has resultantly contributed and increased my insight, knowledge and understanding of the Hotel and Hospitality Industry. I am looking to contribute with my skills to add value to an enterprise in order to gain further experience and knowledge of the industry as part of my career goal of pursuing my profession in Hospitality. My belief is that service excellence is the critical foundation to building success in this Industry. The key objective must be to deliver consistent and sustainable high standards in order to achieve the guest’s and business goals. In today’s highly competitive business environment, adding value to the business through a service excellence culture will lead to high levels of guest satisfaction and profitability. I have had a passion for hospitality since a young age, with both my parents being involved in the industry. Through their experience and insight towards hotels I have developed myself to now be involved in the industry and to provide value to a business.I finished my schooling career at Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard in Greenpoint. I then proceeded to do a two year diploma in business management and entrepreneurship at Varsity College Cape Town. Once I completed the qualification I continued to study at the International Hotel School, completing the Diploma in Hospitality Management (a 3 year diploma) with an AHLEI qualification in Hospitality management (70% requirement minimum for all modules) and completed it and it is now recognized by the American Hotel and Lodging Institution.
