For the first two years at Jacobs I contributed to the architectural design of projects and development of contract documents under the guidance of project architects and alongside in-house engineering disciplines. Using BIM workflows I modeled and created drawings for many infrastructure projects.Later I took on the role of Project Automation Lead. As a PAL I was responsible for implementing and enforcing project CAD standards, workflows and file structures, file naming conventions for models and drawings and therefore the structure of construction document packages. As a PAL it was also my responsibility to solve issues with project CAD execution. I taught project CAD standards and workflows to team members and led meetings every few weeks with all modelling/drafting staff to keep the work on standard.
