About Nicholas Bragg

I have been teaching private horn students and coaching brass sections in the Charleston/Huntington area of WV since 2010. I have also had the privilege of guest lecturing for Marshall University’s undergraduate music research course, as well as the new musical careers and entrepreneurship course during my graduate study. In 2016 I had the honor of playing as a guest artist for West Virginia State University’s big band. I spent 2018 -2020 in Texas working towards my DMA in horn performance at the University of North Texas, and teach private horn lessons in Richardson ISD as well as perform with Lone Star Wind Orchestra, Sherman Symphony Orchestra, and Mansfield Philharmonic in addition to the UNT Wind Symphony, Concert Orchestra, and Baroque Orchestra. However with the pandemic and job market I switched gears to public school teaching and in January of 2021 I gave a Masterclass on “Practicing Practice” at the University of Charleston. Ultimately, my goal is to make kids aware they can follow their dreams and go to college just like I did.
