Delivering social events to over 100 members of the club which are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable. The role has included sorting and maintaining a social venue, and maintaining a good relationship with our respective partners

I gained my ECB core coaching qualifications in November of 2022, building upon my initial foundation level qualification, and this allowed me to provide high quality coaching to five of the ten university cricketing teams. During term time, I regularly work up to 15 hours a week coaching the teams, delivering both 1-1 sessions, as well as whole team net sessions. Balancing these hours with my own training sessions, and university work has provided a challenge, which I have overcome with extensive planning of my week to ensure I am delivering in all facets of my university experience. In addition to my work at university, I also coach cricket at home, helping to deliver summer camps to hundreds of children. This provides a challenge of a different kind, but building on my experience of coaching I have been able to overcome these challenges, and receive positive reviews from the parents of the children attending these camps

I worked at Wetherspoons, mainly on the bar, but also providing food service when needed. Due to being a student, I transferred from my branch in Tonbridge to my branch in Exeter, where I fulfilled the roles needed at both branches for a period of over a year.

Working in high profile events, such as the Chelsea flower show, and at the Oval cricket ground, I have been involved with running my own boxes and providing high quality levels of service to the customers. Recently at Exeter Racecourse I worked in a box for a large group by myself, serving drinks and a three course meal to the customers who were all extremely satisfied with the service I provided.

I did work experience shadowing a barrister through the whole of a trial, experiencing the challenges faced by the legal profession and what level of hard work is required to be successful in a competitive industry. Talking to the defendant, prosecutor, and the barrister has enabled me to understand the various viewpoints of everyone involved in a complicated family matter case.
