My teams consistently obtain FDA approvals, CE Mark approvals, and clearance in other regions worldwide.As an engineer, I developed neurovascular products including balloon catheters, vascular plugs, stents, guidewires, and the first prototype of the Scepter Mini .020" distal OD balloon catheter for occlusion and injection of liquid embolics. As a Sr Engineer, I designed and developed the first radial access catheter of MicroVention's portfolio, SOFIA EX, for access and braided implant delivery (intrasaccular, flow diverters, stents). Under my technical leadership, we finished process validation early which eliminated the lot release phase of the project, the only access project at the company to complete this feat.My dream of becoming an engineer and entrepreneur started in preschool. After earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering and experiencing the impact new medical devices have on patient lives, I am even more motivated to dedicate my life to creating new solutions for patients and building value in our industry. Passionate about the present moment and excited for the future. With experience in startup, mid-sized, and large corporation environments, I appreciate and understand the complexities of product development and company building.
