I was a Teacher's Assistant for Engineering Processes for the Spring and Fall semesters of 2018, the Fall of 2019, and the Spring of 2020. In this role, I oversaw the on campus machining shop. I instructed students on how to use a variety of shop equipment including mills and lathes. I led labs instructing how to properly weld for metallic welding and nonmetallic welding. I assessed students and graded exams. I evaluated student proficiency by assigning, assisting, and evaluating a semester long project encompassing all of the fabrication techniques taught.

I was the Regional Representative during a four month internship at Greenbrier Holdings. In my role, I assisted in every department within the company including but not limited to engineering and design, legal inquiries, interactions with municipal, county, and state officials and agencies, interactions with contractors, and represented the company with potential clients and at interstate expositions. I contributed to construction of new 18,000 sq ft processing plant costing $1,800,000. I investigated price quotes for processing equipment within buildings and building construction itself. I facilitated and attended meetings explaining design changes to architects, engineers, and government officials. I applied for county and state permits for construction and licensing.
