- Designs the City’s strategic communications strategy, orienting outreach and engagement efforts in line with organizational missions and objectives with public information performance.
- Manages social media presence and daily administration, implementing a new branding and messaging strategy that has grown audiences across all platforms
- Oversees the operation of the City’s website, working with staff users across the organization to maintain accessibility and relevance; implementing strategic initiatives to improve usability and save staff time
- Previously and currently managing several tasks and duties of the position of Assistant to the City Manager in the absence of the role being filled full-time, including City Council agenda review, serving as staff.
- Develops and distributes press releases, information publications and multimedia productions, stewarding the organization’s information relationships with local media, community partners, and the general public.
- Supervises City advertising and marketing efforts, developing print materials with a direct reach of 91,000 individuals and weekly audio copy across multiple local radio stations
