PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEI spent the first half of my career as a speech-language pathologist in the schools with additional experience in private practice and home care helping children and young adults improve their communication skills. In recent years I have improved my knowledge and skill level in a variety of augmentative and alternative communication systems/strategies and worked as an AAC consultant in the schools and private practice. In July, 2022, I began working with AAC full-time as an AAC Consultant with Talk To Me Technologies. AWARDS & PRESENTATIONS• Spring 2021. North Carolina Augmentative Communication Association.
