This includes ensuring that effective corrective and preventive action is carried out, that i log the lessons learnt, and that i communicate these lessons with other sites globally.• Work with teams and cross-functional groups to identify, evaluate & implement opportunities for process and quality improvement.• Ensure the 7 step and 5 why process is followed for all complaints.• Assist in the development of the Company scorecard by leading the internal quality team and presenting the findings.• Monitoring of the SLA KPI’s and taking action with the relevant departments to ensure that targets are achieved.• ensuring customers are kept updated and informed regarding customer reported issues,

Cummins Power Generation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of power generation equipment.; * Provide technical support to customers from issues raised as complaints and queries as per Customer Service Level Agreement for the EMEA region.* Conduct Root-Cause analysis, containment plans and long term solution via the use of Quality Tools for all customer complaints and issues and reporting information back to customers and distributors. * Regular communication and feedback with suppliers for Supplier Quality Issues * Provide customers with replacement parts and services for short shipment issues* Produce processes and procedures to protect customers as part of long term resolutions. * Coordinating Quality apprentice's work load within the department* Undertake projects to improve internal PPM figures* Co-ordinate the Quality Tools training site wide.

* Designed and modified detailed technical engineering drawings to comply with company and ISO standards. This is achieved through complex engineering programs of Pro Engineer and AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 and Autodesk Inventor. * Reactive and preventative maintenance for whole site facility. Maintenance on oil, gas, air, water and fuel systems. Manage and carry out onsite maintenance on facility systems to maintain the running of the facility and its systems. * Developed and tested diesel generators and applications. Load testing, vibration, cooling systems, fuel systems and heating systems. * Built and fabricated diesel and gas generators to technical drawing and ISO standards. Built generators to detailed spec as per customer order. Using hand skills and welding and fabrication skills* Implemented the shop floor to a mandatory hearing protection zone. Investigated shop floor noise levels in accordance with government legislations. Sourced appropriate PPE and presented training to all affected personnel.
