Fleet Anti Terrorism Security Team - In this position, I was trained in non-lethal tactics, Close Quarter Combat, and Marksmanship. I trained Marines and foreign military in both Close Quarter Combat and Marksmanship. Job duties including finding the faults with a security position and reinforce them. Also helped develop VIP security practices for European Command. Had to maintain and keep track of gear for a six-hour window of deployment. During this time I was deployed to Cuba and Spain.As a Dog Handler, I was placed in charge of a Black Lab which was a bomb detection dog. Had to ensure it's health, training, and correct utilization. During this time I deployed to Afghanistan.As a rifleman, I was responsible for all my gear. Learning and using guard orders, rules of engagement, and tactics.
