This period I spent seconded at SMEC to gain on-site construction experience, to benefit me on my road to professional registration. £2M green-fields project involving the construction of a 2km bus route, pressurized water pipeline and reservoir Construction monitoring (Acceptance testing, daily site reports, site instructions, on-site decision making etc.)

This was my first period at the municipality. I spent this period in the laboratory of Pavement and Geotechnical Engineering to gain a better understanding of materials.
