Growing up, I was taught how life was meant to be lived: grow up, go to college, find a career. Well, I finished the first step before deciding to deviate.After high school, I wasn't ready for college, so I set out on a mission to find out who I was and what I was truly passionate about. It took several years and I am still growing...Through the process I became a nationally ranked dancer, a Los Angeles resident, working as a film/television costumer, a student of architecture and design in London, and then, finally, a college graduate in my home state of Colorado.Each experience brought new challenges, new friends, and new ideas. I learned to work hard and trust in my abilities, to never let fear keep me from finding and embracing my passions, which turned out to be design. Had I not made my own itinerary for life ten years ago, I guarantee I would not be the open-minded and well-rounded person I am today. I want to use my collected knowledge and experiences as a designer to help shape and improve the way people live.
