Responsible for leading procurement activities such as the negotiation of terms of price, quantity and delivery, analyzing comparable suppliers and agreeing on contracts in coordination with the Corporate Services team. Determine appropriate contracting vehicle for purchasing (e.g., Purchase Order versus more robust contract) and, for the latter, selects appropriate templates for transactions. Determine whether vendor paper is appropriate for certain types of transactions. Responsible for preparing Master Agreements, complex amendments/change orders and project-level contracts (e.g., statements of work) for mid-range transactions, including change orders on project-level contracts.
