My passion is in seeing communities and individuals built up through holistic, sustainable and dignifying methods. I graduated from Texas State with a bachelor's in Philosophy and I have nearly finished my Master's of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have been in leadership in my current employment for several years now, as well as having been in leadership in religious ministries prior to beginning my master's. In all of these venues, my personal priority has been the well-being and success of my teams, understanding this to be both my role as leader and as vital for the success of the organization. Further, these positions have given me opportunities to develop my talents for logistics, strategizing and communication. Prior to beginning secondary education, I spent several years as a missionary in Bolivia, where I volunteered at two children's homes. My hope is to use these experiences and abilities to accomplish my passion of developing communities and the individuals that make them up.
