This included survey design, distribution, managing relations with respondents, data cleaning, and analysis. This study is aimed at investigating the temporary vs. long-term impacts of the pandemic on travel behavior in the United.

As the Capital Planning Intern, I was responsible for assisting with many of the ongoing capital projects at Valley Metro. I provided support through data analysis, preparation of presentation materials, report writing, research, and map generation using GIS. My most significant projects included the Fiesta District Alternatives Analysis, Tempe/Mesa.

As a Student Ambassador for the School of Sustainability, I participated in numerous recruitment events, taught an introductory course to incoming freshmen, and served as a point of contact for those interested in ASU’s Sustainability program.

In this position, I aided with research exploring the relationship between urban design, microclimate, and mitigating heat exposure on public transit stops in the Phoenix metro area. Through this work, I further developed my research skills by handling heat measurement equipment and recording data in the field. This position also required that I survey.

As part of a collaborative internship with the City of Tempe and Decision Center For A Desert City, I researched desert cities' drought preparedness plans, an analysis of potential water use reductions using meter data, and recommended amendments to Tempe’s current drought contingency plan.
