Damien learns that there has been a Soul Collector for every generation and it has always been their duty to transport the fallen souls from Earth to Purgatory. Unable to cope with his own death and his new power and responsibility Damien decides that he is more suited to choose who lives and who dies.Damien starts with the best intention deciding that he will only claim the lives of those who deserve to die: the killers, rapists and gangbangers plaguing his city, but soon the thrill of killing overwhelms him and he begins to kill whoever he wants to.
