• Responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy• Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping• Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers• Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions

• Responsible for keeping the station fully stocked and in working order• Maintain food production records, notify supervisors when supplies are low, unpack deliveries, and restock work areas• Ensure the kitchen, including all appliances and utensils are clean• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment according to establishment protocol, deep-cleaning equipment and work areas as needed• Responsible for preparing ingredients prior to meal service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or cleaning seafood• Assist the head chef in cooking dishes according to set recipes• Responsible for the storage of food, both incoming stock and leftovers • Responsible for determining if leftovers of either prepared or partially prepared food can be reused or if they must be disposed of at that moment• Handle calls, cash register and other duties as needed
