ACE Armoured Vehicles • Installation of armor in security vehicles, including stripping vehicles, metal fabrication, modifying body work and installing electrical systems, panels, upholstery, glass and fiberglass. • Design and fabrication of armor components including drawing, fabricating molds, welding and grinding.• Working with engineers to determine the rating of bullet proof materials needed.• Liaising with tradesmen to source and manufacture components• Working with overseas companies to relay design information such as sizes and curves for the bulletproof windscreen and windows for the vans.• Design and construct prototypes for customers such as a hydraulic lifts for Toll Security, designed to load and unload heavy trolleys from their vehicles.KT Marine• Diagnosing engine and equipment faults including dismantling, inspecting and testing components, and then repairing as necessary.• Servicing marine craft, including engines, fittings, instruments and other parts to maintain proper running.• Designing new mechanical components, constructing and installing the new components.• Modifying existing components to enhance their performance.

• Worked with the Project Manager and Project Engineer for the Ironbark team which is part of Origin’s Coal Seam Gas development in Central Queensland.• In charge of many projects including writing a Technical specification for a reciprocating gas compressor, an Emergency Action Plan for the water gathering ponds, helped organise the installation of a generator and re-fit of the power circuits in the site office and many other projects.
