It Support Technician
Current• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals for both Mac and Windows PCs.• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems related to computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.• Receive and respond to incoming e-mails, direct messages, and calls regarding problems with computers, associated hardware, and software.• Document, update, and resolve IT requests and issues using BMC Helix/Remedy IT Service Management ticketing system.• Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software.• Ensure that the computer systems are provided with appropriate network connectivity through Fender’s existing LAN and wireless WLAN.• Perform basic security functions within a Windows-based administration environment, such as resetting passwords, changing file and directory permissions, and enabling/restricting access to network services.• Maintain IT knowledgebase articles and documentation concerning IT support processes, procedures, and policies.• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Zoom Video Conference Rooms, in-office events, and all audio/video components.• Perform IT hardware decommissioning processes, including inventory documentation, data wipes, and e-waste disposal.• Maintain office workstation peripherals (monitors, docking stations, desk phones) as they pertain to Fender’s office workstation reservation system.• Participate in regular IT team calls to discuss ongoing/upcoming projects, changes, and issues.
