Hello! I am a recent graduate of the BA Sculpture Fine Art program in the National College of Art and Design. I am a multi-disciplinary artist that has worked with a variety of materials including paint, mixed media, sculpture, video making and editing. I participated in a year long portfolio course in the Bray Institute of Further Education where I compiled a high-quality portfolio that showcased my ability to work with different materials and demonstrated an ability to think in a creative and conceptual manner. Upon completion I applied to the National College of Art and Design where it was my ambition to study in the sculpture department with an aim to study Art Therapy afterward.During my time in the National College of Art and Design I gained experience in a broad range of creative disciplines including performance art, painting, drawing, woodworking, metal working and film shooting and editing, the latter of which I found myself continuously gravitating toward.I have participated in numerous college exhibitions and I was commissioned to produce artworks for private customers. I have also acquired my foundation certificate in Art Therapy from the Dublin College of Art Therapy since getting my Bachelors degree in Fine Art with a commendation in my thesis. My interests outside art lie predominantly in music. I am a multi-instrumentalist and have spent much of my adolescence in bands with friends gigging around pubs and music venues in Dublin and Wicklow town. I spent 4 years in The Royal Irish Academy of Music studying the double bass and have toured as part of the intermediate orchestra and The Young Irish Strings in locations such as Norway and Japan.
