My skills consist of creating computer-based trainings using Articulate 360 and Camtasia to assist with the growth and development of our operators. These courses are built to be either self-paced or instructor lead. Here are a few Roles and Responsibilities: • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.• Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.• Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.• Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.• Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.• Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.

I possess more than 20 years of progressive experience in the optical field. My professional history includes positions such as Dispensing optician at Wal-Mart, Pearle Vision and Family Eyecare Associates as well as a Final Inspector at Hoya Vision Eye Care. Most recently, my responsibilities as a Trainer/Safety coordinator at VSPOne Olympia. As the Trainer, my responsibilities included creating, developing training for the labs network & multiple areas in the lab. I assisted in the successful completion of new employee on-boarding and basic training's for the VSP network.
