I am currently working as a software engineering manager with Open Systems International in Medina, MN. I manage a team of engineers while still actively developing and assisting in the management of another engineering team. My dvelopment work is primiarily Java for back-end work and Angular for front-end. I've also spent time coding in C, C++, and C#. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in Economics in 2016 and worked in non-profit property management for CommonBond Communities for three and a half years. I began as an administrative assistant and within two and a half years received a trio of promotions to become a property manager. I left CommonBond in the summer of 2019 in order to study computer science full time. I obtained another bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 2020 with a major in Computer Science, at which point I began working with OSI. Once at OSI they quickly appreciated my management experience and were happy to move me up into a management role where I now work.Outside of work, I enjoy walking and visiting the dog park with my Black Lab/Shar Pei mix, Poe, as well as fixing whichever of my old cars happens to be broken that week. In the summer, you can either find me at the dog park or out on the St. Croix with my boat parked up on a beach, cooler and friends in tow. Come winter I'm usually tackling a larger car project or huddled around a board game at a brewery with some good friends and good beer.
