I have been involved in the world of sports my entire life. I was a starting offensive lineman for my high school football team. My technique and skill on the field earned me an opportunity to play D1 college football. Throughout my time as a college athlete, I learned more about the benefits and opportunity of sports. I have worked as a youth recreational counselor throughout my college years and continue my work as a coach and youth counselor throughout graduate school. Since starting grad school at FAMU, I launched a youth apparel company called Rare Youth! I am passionate about making a difference in the young people’s lives I encounter.
