Growing up in Maine, my father would pile the family in the car and head down roads we had never been on, to see where it would lead, what adventure we would find, what new something we might learn. It inspired me to be curious, adventurous, and be prepared for what challenges the next turn might bring. As a Life Coach, I bring this same sense of curiosity and adventure in my work with clients. I also bring fundamental Maine values of honesty, trust and compassion into every session. I have used these fundamental experiences and values through numerous experiences in my life. I have worked as a child care director and as a therapist in a large outpatient psychiatric setting. I have trained and supervised psychiatric residents, teachers and parent coaches. I have taught in elementary school as well as college level. Being brought up to always give back, I serve on numerous community committees and organizations. As your Coach, I hold a Master's degree in counseling and Life Coach Certification recognized by the International Coaching Federation. I abide by ICF's practice and ethical guidelines. Through my training and own life experiences I bring an opportunity to partner with my clients as they explore their potential to become more, to set and meet goals, to manage those barriers that get us caught into inaction or confusion. I bring honesty, compassion and experience to my clients; I bring a wealth of professional and personal experience to every session.In my spare time I can be working with my partner on our 100 year old house, dog or cat sitting for neighbors and friends, biking the Greenway or making plans to go dancing or having coffee with friends.
