I was also involved in the following outside of my delivery responsibilities:1) Commercial/pre sales support - formally part of the commercial team involved in more business development focussed activities such as, updating and developing service offerings, writing proposals and responding to RfPs in collaboration with the bid team. 2) Client Engagement Team - responsible for supporting all colleagues throughout NCC (not just sales) to help identify new opportunities and win projects. 3) Head of Training - responsible for coordinating training for all consultants within RM&G. This includes negotiating contracts with third party training providers. 4) Service Line Lead (CSR) - leading RM&Gs most popular service (Cyber Security Review). The role includes supporting all pre sales requests for the service and also developing the service line to stay relevant and attractive to our clients, whilst also aligning the capability on a global scale across the US and APAC.5) Next Generation Manager program - selected to join the program as a potential future leader to learn about management activity such as; unconscious bias, interview technique, leadership skills, mentoring and more. 6) Calibrate - worked on an up and coming product that was being designed and built to provide clients with a cyber resilience score and benchmark for their industry. This was built by combining a wide variety of services and data collected within NCC such as the CSR, MVSS and more. This will be used for reporting, forecasting and providing much richer insight and value through common control frameworks.I am now both a CISSP, CISM and ISO 27001 lead auditor.

I joined the RMG department in August 2016 as a Senior Security Consultant and at the end of 2017 was promoted to a Managing Consultant. Since then I have been involved in engagements with various organisations within multiple industries, such as private equity, wealth management, banking, insurance, and retail. Engagements include:The creation of a security controls compliance function for security policies which is aligned with corporate/enterprise compliance and audit functions. This is all to have a view of compliance with a goal to achieve ISO 27001 compliance. GDPR data mapping reviews including documenting data flow diagrams for business functions and process maps. Cyber security maturity reviews including detailed cyber security prioritised roadmaps. Information security training for board level audiences. Since my promotion I have been heavily involved in business development. This includes understanding clients needs and requirements to create a proposition or bespoke solution. I have experience in client calls, face to face meetings, defining and creating proposals through to supporting delivery where needed. I do not currently have a revenue target but have been successful in placing a number of engagements so far.I am due to complete the CISSP and ISO 27001 lead auditor.

Cyber security roadmaps were developed to remediate the high risk and quick win items, which then led to follow up validation work to provide assurance over the remediation work.

Since June 2014 I have been part of the Cyber security practice for the South East (UK). I have worked with clients in a variety of industries/sectors from critical infrastructure, aviation to online retailers, healthcare and universities.Through the engagements with clients in the above industries, I have performed capability maturity assessments, ISF benchmarking, gap analysis against a variety of standards of good practice and ISO 27001 security standard reviews. I have also conducted reviews on a variety of aspects regarding security, governance framework, control frameworks, reporting (creating and implementing KPI dashboards), training and awareness programmes, third party management - procurement and supplier management, physical security, security architecture, and HR processes like employee & contractor vetting.I have also worked on engagements where we have assessed a clients current activities and whether they are in compliance with regulation such as, data protection and PCI-DSS.The engagements I have been involved in wider variety of industries and range from short term maturity assessments to longer term enhancement/implementation projects. I recently worked on a long term enhancement program and a leading UK retailer, setting up a security management function, including a reporting structure and full KPI dashboard.I am currently working towards my MSc Information Security, due to complete in June 2017.
