Provide game design instruction to middle school and high school aged students.

The Digital Health Initiative (DHI) aims to transform health and health care for patients, their families, and their healthcare teams by cultivating a thriving research community of digital healthcare pioneers. DHI leverages world-renowned expertise from the GApp Lab (http://games.utah.edu/research/about-the-gapp/) and ReImagine EHR (https://reimagineehr.utah.edu/) in playful engagement, standards-based electronic health record interoperability, and participatory design to catalyze research in engaging digital health innovations. As the Social Media Manager, I developed an online presence to represent the initiative, implemented content strategies on social media platforms, and attended fundraisers and other events to generate content.

Taught week-long UE4 blueprinting classes to middle school and high school students. Classes focused on building games like Side Scrollers, Arcade Classics, and First-Person Shooters.

Interns were tasked with playtesting different games on PC, console, mobile, and VR platforms.These playtests would be discussed in meetings with other interns and supervisors, as well aswritten up into reports and breakdowns for the company to improve.

Brainstormed with peers to determine website design, features, and enhancements forpublishing company and author. Established author social media strategy and presence, includingboth technical and engaging content, and monitored/contributed to social media accounts in offwork hours.
