I am proud to be part of an organization like Springfield Electric (Sonepar) that believes in taking care of people as much as I do. I was formerly in a non-profit for 25 years working mostly with young people. Planning trips, raising money, teaching, recruiting, managing relationships, counseling and public speaking were all part of the weekly routine. The most rewarding thing was building relationships. It has been a great transition moving to customer service and sales. I still get to build relationships on a daily basis and make decisions that take care of people and I love it – Its my passion!I have acquired so much knowledge about people over the last 35 years. During the years I spent in a non-profit - guess what? I didn’t make a lot of money. I have had to work several jobs alongside the non-profit to support a growing family. This created opportunities too, get my Real Estate License, Insurance License, CDL Drivers License, run my own business, work in retail, sales and even becoming a 3rd shift supervisor so that my days would be free. I have built relationships with people from all walks of life and really enjoy listening to what makes them unique.
