Worked on main project where I created a new VM image that analysts on the team would use to be able to investigate vulnerabilities on their network through offensive security tooling through new tools within the virtual environment that Analysts never had access to before. I also worked on a firewall project where I would go through various firewall rules and trying to find ones that met certain criteria to be able to be removed from the network and firewall rule sets.Did multiple presentations about my impact during the summer and what I learned in my experiences with the team.Sat in on daily handover calls with other teams that would share information vital to continue the 24/7 moderation of the network.Had briefings on tools that the Cyber Defense Center utilize as well as information on the Incident Response process. In this I learned about how they go about analyzing and digging deeper to find vital information about Data Stealers and Phishing attempts that are directed at employees across the entire company.
