I am a defense industry grunt by day and scholar by night. I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tulsa and then received my M.A. and PhD in International Relations from the University of Arizona, where my research focused on arms proliferation and conflict issues. After receiving my PhD, I began working in the defense industry professionally, focusing on assisting defense companies in the realm of import/export regulatory compliance. I am currently serving as a Solutions Manager for Defense Trade Solutions, a consultancy firm based in Washington, D.C. where I specialize in import export licenses, Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD) and Anti-Tamper (AT) issues.
