As a Relationship Manager at City National Bank, I am responsible for managing and servicing a large portfolio of commercial banking accounts with an emphasis on business development, client retention and cross-sales. I provide excellent customer service and work with my existing and potential customers to find custom solutions to their banking and financing needs. I work as a member of a team comprised of Personal Banking Officers, Underwriters, and other product experts to ensure continuity of high quality service, product delivery, and responsiveness to client needs. In order to maintain and attract new business it is necessary for the Relationship Manager to have a strong understanding of the customer's industry and operations. Deep product knowledge and technical expertise is necessary in order to originate, structure, and execute large transactions and/or to cross-sell.My customers consist of small to mid sized companies with $10 - $100 million dollars in annual revenue. Commercial credit commitments of $1 million to $10 million. Industries include manufacturers, service companies, distributers, shipping companies, logistics, advertising/marketing companies, and others.
