I've always been fascinated by the knowledge we discover, the systems we form, and the games we play.My passion for entrepreneurship was ignited when I was 16 and I co-founded a clothing brand called No Signal. After years of growing up in an institutionalized, linear environment, I loved the challenge and learning involved in creating a business. Late-night brainstorms, wacky experiments, and the thrill of seeing our ideas come to life taught me the value of creativity and resilience.Another foundational part of my adolescence was spent diving into the world of competitive strategy games. In a game that had over 10M players, I climbed to rank #1, I played professionally and collaborated with individuals from diverse backgrounds, from war refugees in Lebanon to Silicon Valley engineers and entrepreneurs. This experience taught me to think several steps ahead, survey competitive landscapes, evaluate risks, and embrace a growth mindset. I learned that ego is the enemy and noticed trends in the competitive field that mirror broader societal dynamics, like the growing importance of data-driven analysis.Joining Texas Guadaloop, one of the largest engineering project organizations on campus, was another pivotal moment. I poured my life into this project, growing significantly as a leader and communicator. I was eventually promoted to Head of Business for my innovative ideas and strong work ethic. I led fundraising initiatives to secure a $100,000 budget, working tirelessly to support our ambitious goals. I collaborated daily with engineering leads to understand their needs, source materials, and ensure we met critical deadlines. My efforts to rework the organization’s structure involved reading books and consulting with project managers, connecting with teams globally, and ultimately drastically decreasing the turnover rate by creating more meaningful work for members.Currently, I’m starting an organization called Project PL8, aiming to be the first students to build a street-legal car made out of basalt fiber, a sustainable new material. We’re positioning ourselves to be the first undergraduates on campus to secure a patent.I'm now pursuing a Master's in IT and Management at UT, eager to blend my technical skills with business acumen. I’m looking to work in a role that involves systems thinking, dynamic problem-solving, and cross-collaboration.I believe in the intersection of different fields of knowledge, where each discipline offers unique insights into the pursuit of truth.
