CurrentAn agricultural consultant who works for Campaspe Irrigation and for several wastewater clients, plus I consult to a global drip irrigation manufacturer, we do development work for agricultural chemical and fertiliser companies and also provide agronomy, automation and monitoring equipment and advice to vegetable and row crop farmers around Gippsland. I also grow specialty hydroponic tomatoes for the restaurant trade through our business Harlequin Harvest. I am based in Gippsland, near Maffra. Automation and remote monitoring of irrigation equipment is a major focus of mine. I helped develop remote crop monitoring irrigation scheduling software (Manna by Rivulis). Another focus is to manage pesticide, fertilisers and biostimulant efficacy and residue trials in the field and the office, develop protocols for efficacy trial work in conjunction with relevant stakeholders, implement and install trials in the field, carry out assessments, statistically analyse data generated from trials, write reports and present results to the relevant stakeholders.
