Responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing new employees. Responsible for overseeing the hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes and performing reference checks. Preparing and updating all employment records relating to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating. Responsible for handling employee relations, payroll benefits and training for 130 employees. Responsible for explaining human resource policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees. Ability to inform job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions and promotion opportunities. Ability to address any employment relations issues, such as work complaints, workers’ compensation claims and harassment allegations. Managed daily routine transportation for all residents to and from doctors’ appointments, shopping, dining and outing activities as well as ensuring the driving staff has all the resources needed in order to complete their specific tasks. Responsible for planning social events for staff, organizing monthly staff meetings and maintaining staff schedules.

- Responsible for training all new drivers in accordance with the driver training program. This prepared them to take and pass their DMV test for their commercial class B drivers license. I had a extremely high rate, ~95%, of my trainees passing on their first test attempt. (This was a student job that turned into a contract job that expired after one year)

I was responsible for recruiting employees both internally and externally. This included setting up information booths at job fairs and campus events for recruiting and encouraging employees from within to apply for promotions and move up in the company. I was also responsible for maintaining and creating activities and rewards for systems for employee retention.(This was a student job that ended after one year)
