I am a finance lawyer with particular expertise in advising private equity funds, major corporations, credit funds and financial institutions on the structuring and negotiation of complex, cross-border transactions. I am a Partner in Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group in London and co-head of the Private Credit Group. I have a keen interest in impact investing and the circular economy and I have advised on a number of ground breaking ESG and sustainability linked financing structures.I hold an MBA from University of Cambridge Judge Business School and I was awarded a first for my dissertation on the role and importance of impact investing in developing a circular economy.My extensive experience covers a wide range of transactions including private equity led buyouts and buy-ins, recapitalizations, venture and growth finance, private equity real estate, asset based finance, general corporate lending, restructuring and special situations.
