Nick is a researcher and political strategist who has found himself tied-up at gunpoint while campaigning to rid Zimbabwe of Robert Mugabe. He came under fire while helping to lead one of Iraq’s first democratic election campaigns (in 2009) and spent over a year in Islamabad while establishing the Malala Campaign for girls’ education in Pakistan. He leads Sentio Group in designing and executing successful, data-driven election, reputational, and corporate campaigns in Britain, the EU, Australia, NZ and around the globe. He began his career as a researcher and speechwriter at Westminster, and over the past few years has managed political, corporate and charitable campaigns in over 25 countries and states, from New Mexico to New Zealand. He specialises in designing deep – and accurate – opinion research, and winning communication strategies for leaders in all spheres. One of his campaign ads won the 'Best International Campaign Ad' at Reed's 2017 awards.He pioneered the latest digital message/language techniques in Australia and is a certified QPMR, MSc, Council Member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in Sydney. His commentary and analysis has been featured on the BBC, in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, and Hong Kong TV. He is a sometime guest lecturer at the University of Sydney’s International Relations and US Studies Centre, in 2013 delivering a special lecture on Niccolo Machiavelli’s The Prince, exactly 500 years after the work’s first publication. He now lives on the Wine Coast of McLaren Vale, South Australia. His first book, 'Nimblicity' was published in 2022 and became an Amazon best-seller.
