Campari International and their subsidiary, Skyy Latin America approached me with the task of creating a branded event around their sponsorship of the international bartending competition called FLAIR.The event had to function as a VIP-themed event that would attract the country’s fickle socialites as well as the local and international media. The idea of ‘mixing’ strange ingredients became the overriding theme. Also key to the concept was integrating the parent brand's attributes of irreverence, glamour and sex-appeal while keeping the message pertinent and culturally relevant.Once the naming and branding were complete, the project went into research and planning and eventually manifested itself into a wide array of formats, ranging from online, and environmental design to direct mail.
