About Nicholas Simpson

Intelligent.The combination of a technical background in biology coupled with my work experience in the healthcare industry has made medical device sales a true passion of mine, and I look to be that quality resource each surgeon relies on.I have worked in a variety of fields from customer service to instructor. Each job experience has contributed to many of the skills I have today. These include public speaking, organization, time management, practicality, and confidentiality. I have volunteered at an after school program called ACE for Communities in Schools North Texas. In this program, I applied myself as a role model and reliable figure for the students to go to when they need help. We worked together to solve problems, complete school projects, and created a sense of trust between one another.I have previously worked with Dr. Amie Lund in her research in understanding how environmental pollutants affect the blood brain barrier (vascular) structure. My role in the research lab was to isolate RNA from brain samples, amplify the material to a usable sample, and identify genes that may be up or down regulated due to exposure to pollutants. Upon graduation from the University of North Texas, I received an offer to work with patients at psychiatric hospital on the Military Unit. Working together with nurses, therapists, and psychiatrics, we treated the men and women who have served our country with the best care while they were struggling with PTSD, alcoholism, along with other mental health disorders.Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
