With over 30 years as a founder, operator, investor, engineer and advisor, I have been a leading player in multiple technology revolutions, including the Internet (via PSTN internet access, wired and wireless Local Area Networking, wireless internet access, mobile telephony, and short range wireless connectivity), Open Banking, and AI (artificial intelligence/machine learning) in Fintech.Currently, I advise Visa on Global Open Banking strategy and Fin Capital on fintech investments and operations. I also serve as co-chair the Governors Fintech Advisory Council and sit on two boards. Previously, I co-founded Finicity and sold it to Mastercard after a 20 year journey, and founded the Financial Data Exchange (an open banking technology standards body). I was also a founder of Bluetooth in my early days as an engineer working for 3Com/Palm. I'm on a mission to build a more inclusive, transparent, and secure digital world, where people and entities have full control of their data.
