With roots in earth science, documentary film, and advocacy, Nicholas is a filmmaker who tells impactful stories about taking action in our world. He has collaborated on projects throughout Turtle Island, Inuit Nunangat, Canada, and Africa.Nicholas co-founded Coexistence Films, a grassroots media and impact organization dedicated to radically creating a socially and environmentally just world through storytelling and community-building. A notable film they created was “Coextinction”, about the endangered Southern Resident orca and those trying to save them. It has screened in over 100+ communities, to 6k students, and raised over $100k towards efforts to empower orca communities. His focus is on projects that are positive for the world and designing impact campaigns that support communities who take care of our planet. In his spare time he is an avid outdoorsmen, athlete, and cloud spotter.
