Currently, I am the Copy Editor for Sideshow, a company that sells and manufactures a wide variety of officially licensed pop culture collectibles.Formerly, I taught 7th-grade humanities, which included reading, writing, and social studies. I also co-led the middle school's student government committees and supervised the production of a bi-monthly student newsletter. Before that, I was a contracted writer for Teacher Created Materials, a freelance copy editor, and an Associate Editor at Locale Magazine, a luxury lifestyle print and digital publication covering Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego.I graduated with an M.S. degree from the Columbia Journalism School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California, where I majored in English literature and Spanish. I have worked as an editorial intern at Pasadena Magazine, Angeleno, and The Advocate, where I copyedited, fact checked, and wrote news briefs.
