This was especially crucial during the pandemic when the world needed all the help it could get.In this role I took critical user insights and translated them into beautiful interfaces. Duties included wireframing, prototypes, testing, hi-fidelity prototypes, and packaging assets for development — all in an Agile environment.

As CMR’s UX/UI Designer, I was entrusted with researching, designing, and testing new digital products to ensure an exceptional user experience while minimizing costly downstream development. Each project began with thorough UX research, including industry analysis, familiarization with internal systems, key stakeholder interviews, competitive benchmarking, and gathering internal feedback and requirements. I synthesized and presented these insights to executive leadership, using them to inform the creation of high-fidelity mockups and prototypes. These designs were rigorously tested, refined, and finalized before being handed off to engineers for development.

As Sartorius’ UX Designer, I managed the web content on Sartorius.com and Essenbioscience.com, ensuring a seamless web experience for customers. I developed web UI concepts to present to stakeholders, facilitating feedback and making necessary refinements before finalizing designs for implementation. In the summer of 2016, I led the company’s comprehensive web redesign project, which encompassed wireframing, brand direction, and eCommerce enhancements.

I co-operated a small marketing firm where I led creative design for all of our clients. My duties included communicating directly with clients about goals and objectives, designing UI concepts, and iterating the concepts all the way up to enthusiastic approval. Duties included UI design, mild web development, print design, brand design, and responsive emails.

In this multifaceted role, I had the unique opportunity to lead Thermo’s mobile app UI initiatives, delivering pixel-perfect designs for over 10 applications during my tenure and ultimately creating the company’s first mobile app style guide. My team was recognized with two Davey Awards and two W3 Awards for excellence in mobile app design. Additionally, I spearheaded the UI design for the FLoid Cell Imaging System (a high-tech microscope) and designed more than 150 icons for various software interfaces.
