I am a graduate student at the University of Kansas pursuing a PhD in Geology. I have a strong research background in sedimentology with specific expertise in fluvial sedimentology and detrital geochronology.I have over nine years of professional work experience in geology, which includes hydraulics/hydrology (2), engineering geology (3), petroleum geology (1), and geological mapping (3).Prior to pursuing my academic and career goals, I served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Sergeant. I credit my military service with developing my skills in leadership, critical thinking, work ethic, and teamwork.
