I began in marketing at an early age. When social networking became popular around 2007, I began maintaining the social media presence of several clients. Later I branched out into website and graphic design, public relations, crisis communication and traditional marketing.My experience in marketing and public relations allowed me to work in the political sector. I have worked on campaigns for numerous parties including Democratic, Republican, Modern Whig, Reform and other parties. This later led to working within political organizations, political action committees and elected officials.In my varies roles in politics I have worked on a wide variety of campaigns for local, state and federal offices. In 2012, I worked in conjunction with a major presidential campaign. In 2014 I managed a Congressional campaign in the most contended swing district in the country.As a member of the Modern Whig Party, I helped found the Modern Whig Party of North Carolina as a rank and file member. I left the Modern Whig Party in December of 2009 after being recruited by the more stable, and more influential Reform Party of the United States. In January of 2010, I was named lead organizer of the Reform Party of North Carolina, and helped rebuild the state chapter after a decade of inactivity. I was later appointed to the National Communications Committee, and in 2012, during the presidential election, I was named Chairman of the Communications Committee. In 2014, I was elected Chairman of the Reform Party of North Carolina, and later elected Secretary of the Reform Party National Committee.In 2012, I founded Lason Media LLC, a public relations and marketing firm specializing in small business and Spanish language marketing. I keep several clients in both the private and nonprofit sectors.
